Some of the Doumen team got to enjoy "Congee Hot Pot" with our host, Jumbo He. It is a favorite summer meal here. A variety of meatballs (pork, beef, fish) are added to rice porridge at the table, and the meal is topped off with a huge helping of green veggies. After it all boils in the pot, the meat and veggies are consumed first, and then the porridge is eaten to finish off the meal. (Posted by Audrey Fetters)
